VATSIM Radar v2.0 update FAQ

Due to too many questions, we've decided to create a separate FAQ page for V2.

General questions

I want to bring old ATC display (DGTA) icons to be as before

Open Airports Settings and select "Never" in "Short facilities view"

Fewer airports are now shown than before, unless I hover over aircraft

Open Airports Settings and select "All with at least one aircraft or ATC" in "Display mode" to bring back old behavior

My performance is lower than before

That can happen on first load while Navigraph is compiling - you can see progress in bottom left corner.

If performance is still low after that, consider visiting new Performance preset and playing with setting - let us know about what setting improves it for you in our Discord.

If performance is still low, and nothing helps - still visit Discord to help us fix it for you and for everyone else.

I don't like new design or new font

Design is final - but if something is now less readable, or less useful than before, let us know on Github or Discord, and we will think about it. General "I like old more" will not help us much.

I have random dots on map instead of aircraft

During migration Traffic Heatmap has enabled for you for some reason. Visit Layers and Weather section and toggle it off.
